HELPING BUSINESSES SUCCEED THROUGH DETAILED DATA.
In both business and civic non-profit organizations, Julie has built 9 years of experience in finance. Organizing and problem solving are two skills that Julie values, but forecasting and trending are where she really excels. Communication and deciphering data allows her to explain the results to others in ways that can be easily understood.
Detail oriented and attentive to her accounting responsibilities, Julie is responsible for the financials at the Chamber, the Kearney Visitors Bureau, and the Classic Car Collection. She accepts and processes receipts, reconciles our accounts, processes our payroll reports, tracks our Buffalo Bucks and is responsible for all monthly invoicing to the Chamber’s partners and members.
Julie has been married to Jason Calahan for 13 years and together they have 2 boys, Caden (8 years) and Conner (6 years). In her spare time, Julie has completed 7 half marathons and multiple 5 and 10k’s. She really enjoys reading about history, specifically Western Civilization, but finds herself extra busy with her family. Her favorite book is “The Worst Hard Time” which is a decade long story of the Dust Bowl. Organizing her closet and home is her zen time, interior decorating gets her excited, and she is always ready for a good shopping trip. A cold beer, friends on the deck, and dinner cooked by someone else is her idea of a perfect evening.
