HELPING BUSINESSES SUCCEED THROUGH VISUAL STORYTELLING.
Ryan Range is the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce’s current Video Production Director. He is a senior at the University of Nebraska at Kearney majoring in multimedia production and minoring in film studies; as a proud Loper, Ryan bleeds Blue and Gold. He has worked in video since his freshman year of high school, when he began as a cameraman for his high school’s broadcasting club. He is passionate about visual storytelling, and though videography is his greatest love, Ryan has also delved into the worlds of graphic design, web design, photography, and writing.
In three years living in Kearney, Ryan has worn a number of hats, including Director of Video for UNK’s student newspaper, The Antelope; Social Media Manager for 91.1 FM KLPR, the student radio station; student video worker for UNK’s Department of Marketing and Communications; summer undergraduate research student; cameraman for Storm hockey; and Assistant House Manager at the World Theatre.
Ryan’s family is of German and English descent, and he was raised on a pig farm in East Nebraska (just outside of a town of around 300 people, which you probably haven’t heard of.) Besides making videos, he likes cats, films, the Philadelphia Flyers, and Weezer.
