What is the Chamber of Commerce and how does it help businesses?


The Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit membership based organization that provides a voice for business in the Kearney area. We are here to help businesses succeed. We do this by providing INVOLVEMENT opportunities, EDUCATION experiences, business ADVOCACY and MARKETING prospects. The Kearney Chamber is comprised of over 900 businesses, professionals, industries, and individuals. We are located at 1007 2nd Avenue right next to FirsTier Bank. While we work closely with the City of Kearney officials, we are a separate organization and not affiliated with the city.

How do I become a member of the Kearney Chamber?


We have made joining the Kearney Chamber easy! Simply call our office at 308-237-3101 or fill out our Online Application and we will get you what you need. You can also contact our Membership & Program Director, Shanna Schulte.




Can I pay for a membership with my credit card?


Of course you can! The Kearney Chamber accepts Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover for payment of Membership Dues, Publications, Marketing Services & all Networking Events.




How can I get more involved with the Chamber?


Chamber Members and their employees can get involved in a number of ways! Including, attending events, participating in committees, volunteer at the Chamber's many functions and so much more. How can my business get exposure through the Chamber?


The Kearney Chamber offers many opportunities to make connections and build relationships for your business. You can sponsor an event and promote your brand to existing or potential clients. Promoting your business through our Online Membership Directory and offering a "Hot Deal" to fellow members is also an excellent way to increase the exposure of your business. If I'm not able to attend events and committee meetings, can I send an employee?


All employees of Chamber Member businesses are Members, so everyone in your organization is welcome to attend and/or participate! In fact, many of our seminars and trainings are aimed at employees. What is a Leadership Partner?


Leadership Partners are members who voluntarily expand their investment in the Kearney Chamber. The program was started in 2009, with 15 members participating. The Kearney Chamber is fortunate to have a tremendous and diverse membership base, made of small and large businesses, individuals and retirees. Chamber Leadership Partners provide financial support that allows the Chamber to reach our programming goals while maintaining a reasonable base dues rate for all members. 2018 is the nineth year of this program, with 40 Leadership Partners. These businesses have shown great leadership and vision by understanding the importance of the Leadership Partner program. Benefits of the LP program include:

How do I update my Online Directory Listing?


We have a couple of great opptions that will not only keep your information up to date, but also keep you up to date on chamber happenings. One way is to login into our Member page. This gives you full access to your Membership listing, Job Postings, Hot Deals or any Events you have for your business. All you need to login is set up your Membersip login information. If you've don't have one or have forgotten your login don't worry! Just contact our Membership & Program Director Shanna Schulte and she will get you set up today. Another great tool we have is for you is the MemberPlus app for your mobile device! This app is available on all smartphone app stores. You do need your login information to access this amazig tool. Once you login you are able to search our Membership Directory, add an Event, Hot Deal or Job Posting. You can also updated your profile/account information all on your phone!
