As the cheerful face that welcomes people when they first walk through our doors, Elda is the Chamber’s very own rock star of first impressions. Her wit is legendary, and if you need assistance, she’ll find a way to help.

Serving as our front desk person (she and Jaime alternate), Elda answers calls, greets guests, and handles receptionist duties. She’s the first line of communication when people call with questions or requests. She has worked on an as-needed basis for Kearney Visitors Bureau and Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years, and while bookkeeping and numbers are her forte, she enjoys assisting one and all in our endeavors to promote the Kearney area community.

Elda Rodgers is a North Dakota native. Leaving the cold for Southern California was a top priority in her life. Many relocations later, she and her husband Ron, a Nebraska native and pilot, settled in Kearney. Outside the office, Elda enjoys family, bowling, and warm-weather golfing.
