Dear Leadership Kearney Alumni,
The Leadership Kearney Board of Directors invites you to get involved, stay informed and simply reconnect with Leadership Kearney. There's excitement surrounding the Leadership Kearney program this year. We are heading down new paths and celebrating our 30th anniversary of the program. This year there will be two Youth Leadership Kearney classes at one time, as well as the adult Leadership Kearney Class #30. With all the excitement of having the new classes start their experience with Leadership Kearney, we are also thrilled to announce a fresh new take on our Alumni program. We want to continue helping our Alumni stay involved and connected after graduation and are looking to bring many new exciting opportunities to our alumni.
This year, we are offering more chances to reconnect, network, and stay current on what’s happening with the program and with the Kearney community. We also have future goals of asking our alumni to sponsor Leadership Kearney participants and to help us continue our efforts of supporting the next generation of leaders in our community. As Leadership Kearney alumni, you have treasured memories from your time with the program, the connections you made, and the development opportunities which enhanced you personally and professionally. We want to continue growing with you through our new and improved Alumni program.
Our new Alumni program will feature a membership directory, multiple alumni networking and professional development events, as well as some community connection events. To join the Alumni program, we have two membership options available. One being our annual dues of $25 or our Lifetime Leader dues of $250. Your Lifetime Leader investment is a one-time payment that will get you a few more perks such as special events. You will also be recognized on the Leadership Kearney website. For annual payments after this year, the Leadership Kearney Board of Directors will be sending out invoices that will be due on June 30th. Now is the time to get involved and pay your dues, as this will be the last year dues are $25/$250, next year they will be increasing to $30/$300 as we continue to add more events and opportunities for our Alumni.
On June 17th the Leadership Kearney Board of Directors will be hosting an Alumni Phone-A-Thon event. During this time we invite you to sign up for our Alumni program and pay your annual dues or become a member of our Lifetime Leaders. We will also be having a friendly competition with all of the Leadership Kearney Alumni classes to see which class can sign the most up for our Alumni program.
