The Kearney Chamber Colonels gathered in April for a special afternoon that combined connection, celebration, and community pride. The group enjoyed a guided tour of the Kearney SportsPlex, led by Director Lauren Brandt, who shared exciting updates about the facility and its growing impact on the community.
As part of the meeting, the Colonels proudly presented the Doing Business Award to Tom and Greg Lundell, owners of Motel 6. The award recognizes their 25 years of Chamber membership and continued dedication to the Kearney business community. Their long-standing support and involvement are deeply appreciated.

The group also took a moment to celebrate Senator Stan Clouse, who was named General of the Year for attending the most Chamber events this year. His consistent presence and engagement reflect his strong commitment to local businesses and the greater Kearney area.
It was a memorable afternoon recognizing those who go above and beyond for our community. Events like these remind us just how fortunate we are to have such dedicated leaders helping make Kearney thrive.
