BAH - HOT MEALS USA

Hot Meals USA hosted a community celebration dinner for serving over 1 million meals with a Business After Hours!

Hot Meals USA, a nonprofit business that was launched in late 2017 serves hot meals to people affected by disasters such as fire, tornadoes, blizzards, and most recently to area flood victims and those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, at no charge, hot noon meals were prepared at the Kearney Museum of Nebraska Art inside the Hot Meals USA truck. Meals could be picked up by stopping by the truck or calling the Jubilee Center to have meals delivered. Richard Cochran, founder and director of Hot Meals USA, was keen in recognizing the gap of people who were food-challenged at the time, especially for families whose children could not attend school. Hot Meals USA filled that gap by preparing food for 200 to 300 every day.

We want to congratulate and thank Hot Meals USA on serving over 1 million meals and helping our community!

To continue providing food for those in need, Hot Meals USA must raise money to pay for the meals, which runs about $2.00 per person. If you would like to donate money to the Hot Meals USA program, you can contact Richard at 308-440-7836, or you can CLICK HERE to make a donation. All funds will be used for food and not equipment.
