SENIOR COALITION VISIT THE KEARNEY SPORSTPLEX

The Senior Coalition was fortunate enough to get a sneak peek inside the massive Kearney SportsPlex on Wednesday, November 20th, led by Facility Manager, Lauren Brandt.

Located directly off of Interstate-80, Kearney SportsPlex will offer year-round access to 209,000 square feet of indoor, climate controlled, multi-use premier athletic amenities that can accommodate a variety of sports & events, including youth & adult tournaments, camps, leagues, and recreation programs.

The Gymnasium will include over 59,000 square feet of space designed for eight (8) high school regulation basketball courts with conversion to 8/10/12 volleyball courts, allowance for 20+ wrestling mats or an additional 16 pickleball courts, and spectator bleachers for 3,000+.

The Turf consists of more than 66,000 square feet of field customizable for multiple-sized soccer fields (U14, U12, U10) for all ages, three (3) drop-down net batting cages, and various other turf sports.

There will be four pickleball courts plus spectator seating, comprised of over 9,000 square feet.

The 300+ meter track will include over 24,000 square feet with full radius corners and three-lane running/walking.
