The Business & Education Committee of the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to extending a warm welcome to all new faculty in Kearney. Businesses throughout our community have generously contributed items for teacher bags, introducing themselves to each educator with a thoughtful gift to mark the beginning of their journey. This year, we welcomed 75 new teachers from institutions including the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Central Community College, Kearney Public Schools, Kearney Catholic School, Zion Lutheran, Faith Christian, and the Youth Rehabilitation Treatment Center.
We are truly grateful to all of the businesses that took the opportunity to welcome the teachers by contributing items for the bags:
