TEACHER BAGS GIVEN TO NEW EDUCATORS



Our members really know how to make our new teachers feel welcome! On Thursday, August 4th, volunteers gathered in the Chamber boardroom to assemble bags for 70 new teachers at Central Community College, the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Kearney Public Schools, Faith Christian School, Zion Lutheran School, and Kearney Catholic School. Each bag contained items from over 45 different businesses around Kearney ranging from pens, notepads, and water bottles to lunch boxes, gift cards, and wine glasses! Every donated bag had over $500 in value.
