A build your own pasta station and Business After Hours is just how the Viaero Event Center kicked off the new year with the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce!
The new Ownership Group and General Manager Mike Lucas hired Executive Chef Kevin Morris to assure that the Viaero Center would become a food destination. By creating delicious delights like the World’s Best Bread Pudding and a Smoked Brisket with crispy bacon panini melt, Storm fans and guests attending special events at the arena will have something positive to talk about. Chef Kevin has also brought his catering team along including his Sous Chef Mick Patsios and his over 20 years of culinary experience in Las Vegas. The Viaero Center now offers a full banquet menu with over 25 entrees available for our guests in the suites as well as the US Bank room that will seat up to 225 guests that overlooks the arena.
The Viaero Event Center is a multi-purpose facility hosting thousands of patrons every year! The hockey community holds various levels of hockey leagues, groups, and open sessions. The Tri-City Storm is the exclusive tenant of the Viaero Event Center and is in its 15th season as a member of the only Tier 1 junior hockey program in the United States Hockey League. Since opening in 2000, the Viaero Event Center has also housed former teams like the Nebraska Cranes basketball team and Tri-City Diesel arena football.
While the Viaero Event Center has a strong focus on the hockey community, it also features 20 luxury suites for guests to watch live performances, trade shows, conventions, and other sporting events. Ice skating nights are open to the public almost every Friday and Saturday with free skate rentals! The Viaero Event Center also hosts skate parties in a variety of packages for birthdays and special celebrations.
