On April 26th, the Senior Coalition took a trip to the new Crowne Plaza, located at 707 Talmadge Street. From the warm, pleasant greeting of the smiling receptionist to the majestic beauty of the many conference rooms, the new Crowne Plaza creates a new level lux experience.
Kearney's Crowne Plaza is unique against all other Crowne Plazas due to its size, free parking, and the unique housing options located conveniently for employees. Kearney Crowne Plaza is one of 15 hotels owned by Younes, 8 of which are in Kearney. The hotel includes 172 sleeping rooms, an indoor water park, a gourmet restaurant, the Y Boutique, and Starbucks coffee shop.
Younes Conference Center North, with 75,000 square feet of meeting space, can accommodate groups of up to 2,500 people. The custom lighting sets the mood of any event as it lights the entire room with your choice of 100 different colors.
Our group was able to get a sneak peek of the new restaurant, Fyre, set to open next month. If the ambiance of the flame-based décor doesn't get your attention, the amazing food, heated floors, and courteous wait staff will be sure to win your approval!
