Kearney Public Schools Foundation kicked off the morning by hosting an enjoyable Coffee & Company on Tuesday, August 7.
Kearney Public Schools Foundation helps donors inspire success through education. Kearney Public Schools graduates perform at the highest levels of business, arts, agriculture, and sciences. By giving teachers and students resources to prepare for college and careers, the world becomes a better place.
The Coffee & Company event helped to draw attention to KPS’s Give a Latte Campaign. Give a Latte supports the work of the foundation to provide teacher grants, scholarships, building funds, and more for the students and staff of the Kearney Public Schools District. Twenty-five percent of the funds raised are returned to the donor’s building for supplies, field trips or small equipment.
Donating businesses will be acknowledged by the Kearney Public Schools Foundation as challenge grantors on this year’s Give A Latte Campaign materials, at their coffee connection launch, and throughout the year on the foundation’s publications.
