On August 9th, the Colonels traveled to Cope Stadium where they heard from UNK Head Football Coach, Josh Lynn, who spoke to the group about the upcoming season.
Tours were given to the 2nd floor of the Cope Stadium, revealing the new remodel progress. The area will feature a meeting room with viewing access for games, a team meeting room with capacity of 120 and divider partitions to accommodate smaller meetings or study halls. The room is equipped with Smart technology for ease of presentations, and the partitions have dry erase boards built into them for game and strategy development. A player's lounge will be available to include a foosball table, couches, tv, and computers. The large one-way windows overlooking the parking lot will be the perfect way to view all the tailgating before each game. All of the improvements made to the 2nd floor were covered by fundraised efforts.
Following the meeting, the Colonels delivered the Doing Business Award to Bruce Furniture in honor of their extreme commitment to our community and long-time member of the Chamber.
