This month, the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce’s Senior Coalition had the opportunity to tour Cottonwood Vet Clinic and Retreat, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the facility and its operations. The Senior Coalition meets monthly to explore local businesses, learn about services and programs, and meet the people who make these organizations thrive.
During the visit, members met the clinic’s staff and learned about the full range of veterinary services offered at Cottonwood. Since opening in 2002, the clinic has focused on preventative care to help pets live long, healthy, and happy lives. Their services include routine check-ups, advanced diagnostics, surgeries, including laser procedures, dental care, digital radiology, and ultrasound, as well as specialized care in behavior, dermatology, and ophthalmology.
The team also shared how they go above and beyond to make care accessible for all pet owners. For clients with mobility challenges, transportation limitations, multiple pets, or pets who are uncomfortable in a traditional office setting, the clinic provides house-call services, ensuring every pet can receive the care they need in a safe and comfortable environment.
Through tours like this, the Kearney Area Chamber’s Senior Coalition continues to provide members with opportunities to engage with local businesses, fostering understanding, relationships, and appreciation for the vital role these organizations play in the community.
