A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Friday, June 2, 2023, to celebrate The Lightbox at 124 W 25th Street in St. James Square here in Kearney, NE!
The Lightbox opened in 2022 when owners Brooke Anderson and McKenzie Cuba set out to provide a space that would be inclusive, practical, and beneficial to the creative community. Brooke and Kenzie are both local photographers and involved community members. Their trendy space is available for booking for $50 per hour, using their booking page.
During the event, Kenzie Cuba, Co-Owner, said "This is a place for people to create, for people to come, for people to gather, for people to collaborate. That is really what we wanted to create for the community."
