The May Spotlight Business of the Month was presented to Brickwalk Gallery.
The Business & Education Committee felt Brickwalk Gallery was deserving of the spotlight award as a new and unique business in the Kearney community. The Brickwalk Gallery features Nebraska artists and sculptors.
Owner Jesse Jacobs formed The Brickwalk Project in mid-2020 after acquiring space in the historic McCue's building while exploring ways to use his creativity to promote Nebraska-local art, artists and Kearney's "On The Bricks" presence. The back room acts as his studio workspace and office, while the front area brings downtown Kearney an industrial-modern showroom formally known as The Brickwalk Gallery.
Gallery memberships are available and current open hours are Saturdays from 10:00-2:00, or by appointment. To learn more about the artists and the venue, please visit www.thebrickwalkproject.com.
The Business & Education Committee’s purpose it to advance opportunities for small business, promote diversity and educate members about current trends and technologies. The group also works to connect students with business and educational opportunities to equip and develop future leaders.
